This summer, Doors for Industry were proud to be one of the sub-contractors chosen to make required stadium adjustments for the recently promoted premier league team, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
We were chosen as one of the sub-contractors by the main contractors for the project, A&H Construction, due to the high-quality work we have provided on previous projects and our long-standing relationship with A&H Construction.
For this particular project, we supplied and installed roller shutter grilles to five of Wolverhampton Wanderers stadium bars, including two to the bars in the Chairman’s Suite.
The stadium changes needed to be complete in time for the pre-season game against Villareal on the 4th August 2018.
However, the stadium stood the ultimate test on the opening premier league home game of Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Everton on Saturday, 11th August, reaching over 31,000 fans including hundreds of media and TV personnel on the opening game. The project was a great success for the club, and for Doors for Industry.
The project was completed on time, with operations organisers, press and the premier league alike praising the work that has been done by A&H Construction and all sub-contractors, and we were delighted to have been involved with such a prestigious and successful project and wish Wolverhampton Wanderers all the luck for their future games.
